Routine Exams

You need to have your eyes checked regularly by an eye doctor, even if you think you have good vision. The driver's license test does not count. We have crafted our process to be as easy as possible. New technology means less waiting, fewer eye drops, and no more air puffs. Hooray!

Medical Eye Care

Optometry isn't only about glasses and contacts. We are board certified to diagnose and manage most eye conditions, including infections, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. At Eye Eye you will get a comprehensive plan for a lifetime of good eyesight.

Contact Lenses

Most people can wear contact lenses, even if they were told they couldn't in the past. We fit many types of contacts including bifocal, toric for astigmatism, gas-permeable, and new options that are being developed every year. Sometimes contact lenses can replace your reading glasses.

Dry Eye & Allergies

From computers to climate change, everything is making our eyes more irritated. Dry, itchy, tired eyes -- new treatments can keep your ocular situation super comfortable. The first step is to admit that you have a problem. Your health insurance will cover this visit, even if you don't have "vision insurance."

Kids need their eyes checked just as much as adults do, probably more. The school screening and the pediatrician do not count. We see patients age 4 and up, and we do such a fun eye exam for kids that most of them don't want to leave when it's over! More and more research is showing that vision problems can be prevented during childhood. Seriously, we can't stress this enough, please take your child to an eye doctor.

Do you do the lenses too?

Yes, all the lenses. We have our own lab, and we have access to other independent labs. We can customize them just the way you like it.

What's the parking situation?

Most of the time you can find a free 2-hour spot on our block. Around 4:00 it gets tougher, and there is a garage just around the corner on 14th Ave.

What is astigmatism?

This is the #1 FAQ. It means your eye focuses light at one plane differently than light at the complementary plane. For example, you may see the vertical part of a letter more clearly than the horizontal part. Or it could be one part of the letter X more clearly than the other part if your astigmatism is oblique. The secret is that everyone has it. The question is, how much?
